RT8565 是能驅動6只 LED 的高效率 LED 驅動器，它集成了 26V/0.9A 的功率開關和蕭基二極體，是固定工作頻率為 600kHz 的電流模式 Boost 轉換器，輸入電壓範圍為 2.8V~4.5V 。驅動 LED 的電流可用一隻外部電阻進行設定，回饋電壓設定在 200mV 。在工作期間，一個內置的 6位DAC 對 LED 亮度進行控制，用戶可以很容易地通過 EN 端子對 LED 電流進行調節。在進行電流調節期間， RT8565 不會讓電流發生突然的變化，因而不會在輸出電容上出現音訊雜訊。RT8565 的內部還有過壓保護設定來預防輸出電壓超過器件的額定值，這是 LED 處於開路狀態時的最大風險。RT8565 的封裝類型是小型的 WQFN-8L 1.6x1.6 。
